Like the octopus that moves across the ocean floor in camouflage - Javi has spent much of his life adapting to new surroundings. 

 

Since leaving his home country of El Salvador, Javi has spread his tentacles across Austin, Texas to thrive in diverse communities and build a career around his passion for creativity.

 

His multifaceted skill set as a graphic designer, illustrator, photographer, and the occasional DJ gig allows him to connect with people across the city that continues to inspire him in new ways. 

 

Javi was first attracted to the energy the city of Austin brings, as a curious observer with an eye for the small details. His never-ending delight and attentiveness to his surroundings are reflected in his work as he pulls from observations and experiences to tell stories through visuals.
